This website is operated by Modernera Education Consultants Pvt. Ltd., Shop No. 37, 1st Floor, Centrium Mall, Lokhandwala Township, Kandivali East, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400101 (“Modernera”, “we”, “us”). For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), we are the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website.
02What we collect
We only collect personal data that you choose to share with us, and limited technical information needed to run the website.
- Enquiry form: name, email, mobile number, school or organisation, state, role and the details of your enquiry
- Newsletter: your email address
- Technical data: browser type, device and pages visited, collected through analytics cookies only if you accept them
03Why we use it
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form, and only for the purposes described here: to respond to your enquiry, to discuss and provide our services, to send updates you have asked for, and to understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for any purpose that is incompatible with the reason you shared it.
04Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies keep the website working, for example to remember your language, theme and cookie choice. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) load only if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.
05Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host, email provider and analytics provider, and only to the extent necessary. They act on our instructions as Data Processors. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Our contact page embeds Google Maps, and our chat links open WhatsApp. These services have their own privacy policies.
06How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the duration of our engagement and any period required by law. We erase personal data when it is no longer needed for these purposes, or earlier if you withdraw consent, unless the law requires us to keep it.
07Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed
- Correct, complete or update inaccurate personal data
- Erase personal data that is no longer needed, and withdraw consent at any time
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity
- Have your grievances addressed by us, and if unresolved, by the Data Protection Board of India
08Children’s data
This website is intended for school founders, trustees, leaders and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
09Security
We use reasonable security safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to enquiry data, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. In the unlikely event of a personal data breach, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.
